TSET Program Staff
Lindsey Martin, TSET HLP Program Coordinator
Lindsey serves as Program Coordinator of the TSET Healthy Living Program of Rogers County
at Volunteers for Youth. She is a Claremore native. Previously Lindsey worked at Girl Scouts
of Eastern Oklahoma for six years, and was involved in Operations, Membership, Volunteer
Services, and Strategy/Marketing for the organization. She currently serves on the Advisory
Board of The Salvation Army Tulsa, the Rogers County Salvation Army board, and the
Healthy Community Partnership of Rogers County. Lindsey is a member of The Steamboat
Institute’s Emerging Leaders Councils Executive Committee and the American Enterprise
Institute Leadership Network.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and Public Administration from
Rogers State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2013. Lindsey has worked a
statewide campaign finance director/scheduler and interned at The Heritage Foundation in
Washington, DC. She was chairman of the Rogers County Republican Party 2017-2019, and
started the Rogers County Young Republicans Party chapter. Lindsey was named a 2020
recipient of the NextGen Under 30 Award for Oklahoma and a 2019 recipient of 40 Under
Forty for Rogers County. She completed the J. Rufus Fears Fellowship with the Oklahoma
Council of Public Affairs, the NexTulsa program with the Tulsa Area United Way, Class 61
Graduate of Leadership Tulsa, the Summer Policy Institute with the Oklahoma Policy
Institute, and was named a recipient of the College Women’s National Leadership Award. In
her free time, Lindsey enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and visiting coffee shops and
restaurants.
Amber Brassfield, TSET HLP Assistant Coordinator
Amber serves as an Assistant Coordinator of the TSET Healthy Living Program of RogersCounty at Volunteers for Youth. She was born and raised in Claremore. Amber is a graduateof Claremore High School. She worked in law enforcement for eight years and has beenactive in several organizations in Rogers County including Rogers County United Way, BigBrothers Big Sisters, Claremore Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, and the RogersCounty Prescription Drug Abuse Task Force. Amber was named the 2010 Rogers County
Citizen of the Year. She resides in Claremore and has a son, Brooks, and one dog, PeytonGrace. Amber’s passion is working with children and serving in the community she loves.
Whitney Owens, TSET HLP Assistant Coordinator
Whitney serves as an Assistant Coordinator of the TSET Healthy Living Program of Rogers County at Volunteers for Youth. She has a Bachelors in Health & Human Performance from NSU with a minor in Communication Studies, graduating Cum Laude. Whitney is a licensed certified Physical Therapist Assistant, a certified personal trainer, and has worked at Fitness Time for Ladies and as a lifeguard. Whitney volunteered at the Blast After School Program when she attended Claremore High School and she has attended a CADCA youth conference with our Drug-Free Communities team back when she was in middle school. A lifelong resident of Claremore, Whitney and her husband, Cale, live in Rogers County with their two dogs, Scout and Bullet.
