Our Mission
The Rogers County Farmers Market strives to connect local farmers and entrepreneurs with consumers in our community. Our goals are to provide an economic outlet for our producers and to make local, fresh products readily available to all consumers in our county, as well as to promote and engage in self-sustaining community and economic development activities within Rogers County in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Home Grown
The Rogers County Farmers Market is on Oklahoma Grown Market, meaning that everything you find at the market is grown or made right here in Oklahoma! Some things you can find at the market include, but not limited to; produce (when in season and mother nature allowing), meats including beef, pork, and lamb, eggs, honey, baked goods, and homemade crafts.
Dates , Times, and Locations
The Rogers County Farmers Market Claremore will begin the first Saturday in May 2022 and end the last Saturday in October 2022. It will be located in the Rogers County Courthouse parking lot. The Claremore Market will be open every Saturday from 7am to 11am.
The Rogers County Farmers Market Catoosa located at the Blue Whale will begin the first Wednesday in June 2022 and end the last Wednesday in September 2022. The Catoosa Market will be open from 5pm to 8pm.
Ways to Pay
The market managers booth will be accepting SNAP, the customers will then receive a “token” which can be used with vendors. This can only be used for food products. We also have a program called Double Up Oklahoma (DUO) this program allows us to match up to $20 of SNAP per customer per day for our customers to purchase produce.
S.N.A.P
The Rogers County Farmers Market has been approved and will be accepting S.N.A.P (the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). The market manager will have a machine to accept S.N.A.P. and will then give a token to the customer. After each market, the vendor will turn in the tokens with the market manager to be counted and cash will be given to the vendor at the next market. All vendors who have products in which customers can use S.N.A.P. must accept the S.N.A.P. token that will be given to the customer by the market manager, no cash can be given back to the customer, please round to the nearest dollar. Products that can be purchased with S.N.A.P. include any food items including honey, jams and syrups, fruits and vegetables, bread and cereals, meat, fish and poultry, dairy products and food-producing plants and seeds.
